The cost per print with a three color thermal ribbon is abhout 20 cents per print.

The black thermal Ribbon for either printer will do about 2000 imprints on your white or silver thermal printable CDs or DVDs. The three panel color thermal retransfer ribbon will last for about 500 imprints depending upon the design on your CD Label or DVD Label.
