thermal dvd printers as well as inkjet cd printers and inkjet dvd printers.
The cost per print with thermal re transfer printers is less than inkjet
cd dvd printers, but the thermal cd dvd printers will not print a full-
color picture like the inkjet cd dvd printers.

The advatnage of the HP inkjet DVD LABEL PRINTERS are that you can buy the
ink at the local office supply store without having to buy the proprietary
ink though ditribution. The off-the-shelf ink will result in a cost per
print of about ten cents; whereas the proprietary ink jet cartridges result
in a higher cost per print.
As mentioned previously, the thermal printers
do not do full color pictures but they cost less per print. The two leading
manufactueres of thermal printers are Rimage and Copypro. The Rimage Prism and
Power Pro III are two leading printers. Each thermal cd dvd printer can be used
as a stadalone cd dvd thermal printer or used with cd dvd autoloaders. The
Rimage Prism comes with one black thermal retransfer ribbons. The Rimage Prism
also uses a three panel thermal ribbon. The Power Printer printer employs
a one color thermal transfer ribbons. |

The Rimage Everest thermal retransfer CD DVD Printer can be mated
to the Everest II autoprinter. This automatic photorealistic thermal
CD DVD Printer is cableable of printing 300 disc in a row without stopping.
The Everest II autoprinter is reknowed for its quality. Cost per print with
the Everest can be a bit pricey, because it requires not only the thermal
ribbons, but transfer rolls, as well as CDs or DVDs that are hub printable.
Teac is a newcomer to the photorealistic CD DVD Printing arena but they have
made a very strong showing with their first entry into the market the TEAC P55.
Unlike the Rimage Everest Printer, the Teac P55 can be mounted on a variety
of autoloading cd duplicators and dvd duplicators. Some of these cd dvd auto-
loaders are sold without CD-RW or DVD-RW drives, allowing the machines just to print.
Manufacturers of the Autoloaders that employ the TEAC P55 printer are TEAC
CDDVDKING, Verity Systems, R-Quest and CopyPro. Our autoloaders
have capacities ranging from 25-1000. These autoloading CD DVD Printers
can be hooked up to a network or they can run in standalone mode. If the
autoloader is run in standalone mode, a PRN File must be created and burned
to a disc.
