How a DVD Duplicator Tower Works Once you unpack your new CDDVDKING DVD Duplicator Tower set up and operation is simple. Turn on your DVD Duplicator Tower and make sure that the power setting is on 110. Using the up and down arrow scroll to # 1 Copy and place your CD Master or DVD Master into the top tray or the DVD-ROM drive. Open all the other DVD-RW Drive bays and place blanks in those trays. You can use the DVD Duplicator Controller to set the DVD-RW drives to close automatically. The DVD ROM reader will read the DVD Master to make sure that the copy is good, then it will send the image via IDE cables trough the DVD Controller to the DVD-RW Drives to make DVD copies. If the DVD is copy protected it will not work. In 6-8 minutes depenind upon media speed and the size of the master, the drawers will open and you will have copied your master disc. It is that simple. If you have purchased a Hard Drive and you have chosen to copy from the hard drive, the DVD-Rom Drive will read the master disc to the hard drive and then send the image from the hard drive to the DVD-RW Drives. Professional DVD Duplicators usually choose to copy from the DVD Duplicator Tower's hard drive as it ensures an exact copy of the master every time. If you have chosen the option of getting a USB 2 or Firewire Port to create a master using one of the DVD Duplicator Towers DVD-RW Drives you will need to be sure that after the master is created that the switch is in the opposite position to allow the IDE channel to accept the flow of the data coming from either the hard drive or the DVD-ROM reader. When the USB 2 or Firewire switch is in the position to accept the master image from your computer's hard drive to create the master disc, it can not accept the image from the hard drive or reader because that channel is closed. Our most popular DVD Duplicator Tower uses DVD Burners from Pioneer |
